  1. Keep up the pressure, Ofer. While theoretical physics has now become a religion & dissidents are not (yet) burned at the stake, criticism sure is a career-limiting move. Trying to get the Group-Think of professionals to change is incredibly difficult because most of the insiders have spent years “jumping over the hoops” & do not wish to jettison their huge memorization investment (the main thrust of education).
    Incidentally, it is very difficult to prove a theory “correct” – usually the best you can do is minimize contradictions & fit as many of the facts as possible but there can always be new theories that do exactly the same, like Sommerfeld’s H-atom model and Dirac’s relativistic spin theory.
    It is the factual basis that makes an empirical science, theory is a metaphysical exercise.
